Mr. Brant McCray, a resident of Lowndes County Alabama, Calhoun Community is a graduate of The Calhoun School and also worked and volunteered throughout the Lowndes County Communities over the last several years.   Someone once said, "Education is a passport to the future. For it belongs to those that prepare for it today."  Preparation is the process of creating the environment for the future we desire.  In our society, education is a key component in that preparation. 

As the newest School Board Member, Mr. McCray would like to not only make sure Lowndes County Public Schools has a solid foundation academically, but also afford students the opportunity to compete locally, statewide, and even globally.
